This is my husband on one of his "crusades" or "raids" we like to call them. On one of these crusades/raids he takes a bottle of my hairspray and our lighter, then proceeds to light the little bugs on fire. And it works.. let me tell you.
While we are on this subject, I have a hilarious spider story.
One day I was driving to work... which is a relatively short drive, but that day it felt a tad bit longer... On my drive to work I noticed there was something on my hat. I thought it was a fuzzy or piece of lint or something. I was SO wrong. But at that time I was sure it was a piece of lint, so I brushed it off. Worst mistake of my life! It was a spider and I brushed it right onto my shirt, while I was driving. Normally I am totally fine with killing spiders in our house, but when it's on me that's a completely different story! So I am freaking out, stuck in the middle lane and the light turns green. I have to drive. So I put my foot on the gas petal keeping one eye on the road and one eye on the spider. I finally pull over and flick the spider off me, unfortunately it went into my car somewhere and it might still be there.

Ew!!!!!! That's horrible! I might have to use your hairspray trick.... The spiders in our basement apartment are out of control as well.
ReplyDeleteHaha that's great Nikki. you have the best stories. we have bugs too :( i guess it comes with the basement apartments. Just a tip- don't leave your clothes laying on the floor in the bathroom! Ugh, I'm sick of spiders.
ReplyDeleteUgh! I hate spiders! At least you have someone around to kill them for you haha
