today.. there was a change...

I have never gotten a ticket before...

Actually I've never even been pulled over before...

All of that changed. Today. March 6, 2010.

It was actually really stupid on my part. I totally deserved a ticket. I cut a cop off haha. I didn't know he was a cop until AFTER I had cut him off, but still my fault. I earned that ticket. I might have gotten out of it, if my license was in the car... but, of course, it wasn't. That was big mistake number 2. Oh well.

Surprisingly I wasn't really upset at all. I always thought I would be really upset if I got pulled over. James told me I should have cried to get out of it, but I couldn't have cried if I wanted to.

This is so ironic because I always make fun of James for his many accumulated tickets throughout his lifetime. He's the one out of us that is supposed to get tickets not me! We obviously spend too much time together because his traits are rubbing off on me. :)

  1. Nobody we know has had as many tickets as Ryan. I guess it runs in the family?

  2. Crying NEVER works. Ever. At least it didn't the 2 times I was pulled over. They don't care.

  3. That sucks! I actually got a ticket 2 weeks ago and it had been 6 years since I had gotten one. Hopefully we can both go a long time without another one. Hope all the wedding plans are going well. I'm finally back online now!

  4. I want some of those recipes from that cookbook. It sounds awesome! If you ever have a free second (not sure if you do:) then you have to email me a few of your favs. Love it that they are only a few ingredients. Love the pics from the proposal!
